The Dog Days

Because that's how things are, lazy summer when Sirius is evident, right?

I try to keep up with my DA messages but a deadly combination of not-caring-enough and doing other things has made me fall so behind. I used to check them every day, golly. That, and I spend more time on tumblr.

I'm still alive, anywho.

Destiny is so close I can taste it. The hype I have for this game is unreal, and I won't even be playing it. I will just be living it through my friends and tumblr. I will end up writing shit for this, I feel it in my bones. On the other end, I am so hyped for Inquisition. I have plans to start holiday baking since the release coincides with Thanksgiving and it will be glorious, if all goes according to plan.

Still managing to write a bit. The only maybe downside is that it is fanfiction. I can't believe I've gotten here; not because I'm one of those people that thinks fanfic sucks on principle, no, but because I have always had apprehension about utilizing characters/settings that aren't of my creation and making sure I get it right, ya dig?

All in all, I'm still in limbo regarding the whole doing-something-with-your-life thing. I need to kick myself in the teeth and grab some motivation, but I am notoriously bad at motivating myself to even make a cake these days.

Finally checked out Animal Earth by Ross Piper, its big on the SCIENCE and it feels like I'm in school again. But I'm not and I'm just learning on my own and it's a really cool feeling and where was this when I took bio? Oh it wasn't out yet.
